KENNEBUNK, Maine – Kennebunk Savings is pleased to announce that Jamie Thompson has joined the Bank as a Vice President in the Corporate Lending Division.
Thompson began his commercial banking career in 1985 working for Princeton Bank in Princeton, New Jersey where he held the position of Relationship Manager and was later promoted to Assistant Treasurer. He was most recently associated with TD Bank working out of their Beverly, Massachusetts office as a Vice President in the Commercial Banking Division, and also served on their SBA lending integration project team. With an extensive banking career, Thompson also worked as a Commercial Lender at Chittenden Bank in Rutland, Vermont and Citizens Bank in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, as well as Banknorth N.A. in Vermont where he worked as a regional Vice President and won two Banknorth sales awards.

Thompson graduated Cum Laude from Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey where he earned a B.A. in History. He attended Stonier Graduate School of Banking in Delaware and is also a 2004 graduate of Leadership Seacoast, a regional civic development program. Thompson has been an active member of Rotary for the past 20 years and currently serves on the Town Budget Committee in Newfields, New Hampshire. He is also a youth soccer coach and on a local Boy Scout Troop Committee. Thompson lives in Newfields, New Hampshire.
